We are very pleased to announce that we have helped the Finnish architecture firm MUUAN to WIN the new community center in the architectural competition of Laitila! And this on our first attempt to work together. The following text describing the grand architecture comes from @ muuan.fi "The all-wood New Parish Center not only reflects Laitila's traditional architecture but also represents today's Finnish wooden architecture.
Inspired by the themes of Christianity and the Holy Trinity the symmetry in "Siivet" embraces the community with its large entrance hall leading to three aisles. The lobby becomes the main meeting room and together with the ballroom the building offers the opportunity to host an unlimited number of different events or just informal meetings. The community center is the heart of the village and a meeting place for Laitila. "
