Did you know??? When you build land settlements there is a so-called building envelope plan that specifies the maximum floor space of the homeownership and the required setbacks.
There is also a document called a charge that specifies certain items that you need to make at your home to make sure it can be built on the property.
Personally I feel they are getting a little carried away especially on facades that need up to 4 or 5 different types of material.
This costs customers money. They would rather spend it in the areas they like best than adding things they do not need.
What are your thoughts? Do you feel that they are sometimes exaggerated?
